Myelofibrosis
- Dose - Oral: 200 mg PO once daily continuously
Supplied
Available as 100 mg, 150 mg, and 200 mg tablets. Tablets contain lactose. Tablets should be swallowed whole and not broken, chewed, crushed, or dissolved. Store at room temperature in original packaging.

Take with or without food
Missed Dose
If a dose is missed, patients should be instructed not to take the missed dose but to resume with the next scheduled dose.
Adverse Effects
Common: Fatigue, Diarrhea, Thrombocytopenia.
Less Common: Nausea, Skin Rash/Pruritis, ALT Increase, AST Increase, Infection.

Monitoring Parameters
Baseline before treatment: CBC & differential, liver function tests
If clinically indicated: CBC & differential, liver function tests.
Drug Interactions
- This drug can impact or be impacted by metabolic enzymes for absorption and excretion. Many drugs can also affect or be affected by these enzymes, so please consult with pharmacy to assess for interactions.
- Current drug interaction databases should be consulted for more information.
Clinical Pearls
- Avoid in pregnancy and lactation.
- Treatment should not be initiated in patients with active infection or with an absolute neutrophil count (ANC) of <1.0.
